We were delighted when one of our suppliers began carrying the Eddie Bauer jackets, vests, and outerwear.
Some clothing wholesale suppliers seem to be only concerned with offering something inexpensive. This results in poor quality control at the factory, which means that an embroidery shop like ours either has to risk disappointing a logo wear client with a substandard garment or waste time returning the item to the supplier.
Eddie Bauer clearly understands that its name needs to be synonymous with quality. When one of our suppliers added this line to its offerings, we knew positive things would result.
The employees of one of our Seattle-area corporate logo wear clients quickly seized on this opportunity to order embroidered Eddie Bauer vests and jackets. We have been impressed with the quality of the garments. The jackets and vests are fashionable and nice looking. One of the things we especially like is how the ladies fleece vests and jackets tend to have a straight waist hem whereas some of Port Authority’s fleece jackets have an elastic waist hem. It has been our experience that many women prefer the straight waist hem because the elastic ones make the jacket material bunch up around the waist.
The only thing that we do not really like is that the Eddie Bauer label is clearly visible on the exterior of the garments. This is strictly a matter of personal preference. Some folks prefer that because it demonstrates a badge of quality. The corporate branding thinking that occupies our thoughts most of the time means that we do not like the idea of having our own logo “share the stage” with Eddie Bauer’s logo.
